Digital Town Centre Worker / Hotel Guest Permits

A Town Centre Worker / Hotel Guest Permit enables you to park in the selected Multi-storey Car Park at a special daily rate if you work in the town centre or are a guest staying in one of the hotels in the town centre.

Permits are available for purchase for Grafton Multi-storey and High Street Multi-storey car parks only.

Please note:

When your purchase has been approved, you are required to activate the permit for use and add your vehicle registration.

Before you start

You will need:

  • A MiPermit Account (you’ll be asked to create an account before completing your application)
  • For Town Centre Workers, you will need to upload a copy of your proof of employment in the town centre (such as your ID badge, payslip or letter from a Manager on Headed paper confirming your employment)
  • For Hotel Guests, you will need to upload a copy of your hotel booking confirmation
  • Credit / Debit card to make payment

Each vehicle needs its own permit. Please ensure you select the correct car park you wish to park in when purchasing your permit/s.

Permit Approval

Your permit application will require approval. You will receive an email to confirm if your application has been approved. You will also be able to view your permits in the manage permit section of your MiPermit account

Activate Town Centre Worker / Hotel Guest Permit

All town centre worker / hotel guest permits require activation. When your purchase has been approved you will be able to activate your permit in the manage permit section of your MiPermit account. You can also activate a permit via the MiPermit App or by calling MiPermit on 0345 520 7007
