Owners of larger motorhomes and horse transporters classed as PHGVs, can pay a daily charge of £9 rather than £100 in Bath’s CAZ. First, you must apply for a discount permit, via the ‘Apply’ button below – this application is free of charge. Once you have applied for your permit, and the application is accepted, you must pay using MiPermit, rather than the government’s central CAZ service, for the discount to apply. You can do this 6 days in advance, on the day you drive in the zone, or in the following 6 days.

There is no expiry for this discount, but you will need to renew your details with us each year.

A large motorhome can be defined as a rigid vehicle of more than 3.5T GVW and determined by the DVLA to have the body type of a ‘motorcaravan’.

A large horsebox can be defined as a rigid vehicle of more than 3.5T GVW and determined by the DVLA to have the body type of ‘horse box’.
