Professional Carers

A 'Professional Carer' for the purposes of this exemption is any person employed by a private care agency or Cambridgeshire County Council to administer care to individuals living within the defined scheme area.

This exemption needs to be renewed annually.

The carer/care organisation must provide:

• Written evidence from the organisation which employs them in this role, and this must be verified by their allocated Team Leader or Line Manager

• Vehicle registration number

There is no limit on the number of applications that can be made by a carer or care organisations.
