Apply for a Carer Permit

Eligibility

The Professional Carer Permit is solely for those employed in the Care Sector. This permit will enable the holder to access parking within resident permit holder bays or Parking Permit areas.

Evidence will need to be provided when applying for the permit. This can be a letter from your employer confirming your employment or your work contract. A proof of vehicle will also need to be provided to link the vehicle to the permit holder. If you leave your current position of employment, while the permit is active, then you must cancel the permit, if you do not then upon notification, the Council will do so without warning.

The permit application lasts for 6 months. Once your application is approved you will receive an email and have access to manage your vehicle stays via the MiPermit app on your smart phone or tablet.
