Use this service if you’re planning to access a weight limit restriction in Cardiff.

You may apply for permit if you need to convey goods or burden to or from any property that is in a weight limit zone.

You can obtain your permit before you travel

Otherwise, you must obtain your permit by 11.59pm on the day of driving into the zone. If you do not obtain your permit in this time, you may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)

Before you start

You will need the number plate of the vehicle and proof to show that you need to access the zone, such as a copy of a delivery invoice or schedule.
