Dispensation notices may be issued to businesses and trades people in cases where a vehicle is required to park where it would not normally be allowed, e.g., a permit bay, to provide easy access to tools and equipment while working at a property. In most cases, notices are issued to commercial/works vehicles and vans only. Evidence will need to be provided of the works taking place. Within a Controlled Parking Zone, it may be possible to use Resident Visitor Permits as an alternative to a Dispensation. These can only be obtained by residents living within the Controlled Parking Zone.
