Purchasing Permits

We have a two stage process for this permit.

1. Print the Medical Free Visitors Parking Permit application form https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/residents/travel-roads-and-parking/parking-services/resident-parking-schemes/cambridge-resident-parking-schemes/cambridge-medical-visitor-parking-permits Please complete sections 1-3. Section 4 must be completed and signed by your doctor. Your doctor needs to confirm:

• That you require home care
• An estimate of the number and frequency of visits
• Whether this need is likely to be on a permanent or temporary basis

2. Once the application has been completed, please register for or log in to your MiPermit account and select Buy Digital Permits, Visitor Medical Permits and follow the online prompts to upload the completed signed application form for approval..

You will receive an email notification to confirm if your application has been successful.

Please note: Permits are issued by Cambridgeshire County Council. These permits are paper based. You will need to enter your visitor’s vehicle registration number and the date and ensure the permit is clearly displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle while parked in a resident permit holder area.
