Purchasing Permits
To purchase bundles of visitor Vouchers, select the “Buy Digital Permits” option and select MiPermit “Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead”. From there, click “Visitor Vouchers” and you can purchase bundles of 5 as required. You can purchase multiple bundles by amending the Quantity box as required.
For first time on-street resident visitor voucher, select the “Resident Visitor Voucher Application” option and input your council tax number, postcode and house number/name. Select your property and continue. You will then be able to input your details to create your account. After your registration application is aprooved you will be in position to purchase Resident Visitor Vouchers through “Buy Digital Permit” section and selecting “Visitor Vouchers”.
Any further purchases can be made via the “Buy Digital Permits” section of your account.
If you do not have a council tax number, please provide alternative documents in the form of a tenancy agreement, completion statement showing the names of the residents, the full address and signatures of all parties to help@mipermit.com
Please note: Permit reviews are undertaken by the Council. Should a permit be rejected, you will need to reapply in the same manner as you had done so. Transactions made are cancelled if a permit is rejected, meaning it will return to your available balance. Timescale for this depends on your bank/card provider.

Activating Permits
Visitor Voucher can be activated up to 14 days in advance via the App, Website and Phone options, Text activations are instant. Please see below methods of activation;
App
Log in to your account in the same manner as you would the website. Click the menu button (three stacked horizontal lines) to reveal the permits option, select this and then select activate visitor Voucher.
You will need to enter your visitors vehicle registration number and select the type of visitors permit to use (if you have various types), the date/time to activate the permit, and the duration required.
Website
Login to your MiPermit portal and click “Activate Visitor Voucher”. Alternatively, you can select “Manage Digital Permits” and select “Visitor Voucher”.

Phone
To activate a permit over the phone, please call 0345 505 1155 and select option 1. When calling in to park a visitor, please allow for waiting time.
We will require the vehicle registration, starting time and ending time of the stay.
Text
You will need to have the mobile number that you are using linked to your account. Text VISITOR followed by the registration of the vehicle followed by how many hours (2hours, 6hours, or 24hours) to 61600. This will create a stay for your visitor.

A visitor permit will only be active once you have received a text message back confirming that it is active.
