Business Permits (Zone QB)

Purchasing Permits

To purchase business permits for Zone QB, select -

    1. ‘Buy Digital Permits’
    2. The ‘Business Permits - Zone QB’ option.

For first time on-street Business Permits for Zone QB -

    1. Input your -
      • business rates number (optional)
      • postcode
      • property number/business name
    2. Select your property and continue.
    3. Input your details to create your account
    4. Continue to make the purchase.

For the initial ‘1st Business Permit’ that you purchase for Zone QB, you are required to upload proof of being a business. This is then sent to the Hull City Council with your application for approval. A confirmation of the outcome will be sent to you via email.

If your application has been approved, you will then be able to apply for further ‘Additional Business Permits’, which do not require any proof uploads or approval. To do this, you must -

    1. Click on the ‘Permit Type’ drop-down menu on the purchase page
    2. Select Business Permit Additional – Zone QB (Digital).

If you do not have a business rates number, please provide alternative documents to help@mipermit.com in the form of a -

  • tenancy agreement or licence to occupy
  • completion statement showing the names of the business, the full address and signatures of all parties
  • bank statement/utility bill dated within the last 3 months

Amending A Registration

To change a registration on your business permit -

    1. Log into your account
    2. Select Manage Your Virtual Permit
    3. Click on the car park operator
    4. Click on the current active permit

The permit details will be displayed below, where you can select Edit Registration. Update as required and click Save Details. This will immediately amend the registration on the permit.

For any changes required in advance, please contact MiPermit to schedule a change for a future date.

Renewing A Permit

Permits can only be renewed up to 30 days in advance of the expiry date.

If you have provided an email address, an email will be sent to you to advise of the upcoming expiry. Alternatively, you can view your permit at any time via the Manage Digital Permits section of your account.

To renew a permit -

    1. Click the red circle next to Manage Digital Permits
    2. Click on the current active permit displayed.
    3. Select Renew Permit from the permit details displayed and process as required. You will need the council tax number to process a renewal.

Should your permit be set to auto renewal, the permit will be processed 7 days in advance of the permit expiry date. This is to ensure you have time to manually renew the permit, should there be any payment issues.

Cancelling A Permit

If you no longer need your permit, you do not have to cancel it. Refunds are not available for business parking permits.

Should you need to cancel your permit during its period, you can do so by -

    1. Selecting Manage Your Virtual Permit
    2. Clicking on the current permit displayed.
    3. Selecting the Cancel Permit option from the permit details displayed

Changing An Address

Should you need to change your address, please contact help@mipermit.com with a copy of the business rates bill for the new property.

If you do not have this, please provide alternative documents in the form of a -

  • tenancy agreement or licence to occupy
  • completion statement showing the names of the business, the full address and signatures of all parties
  • bank statement/utility bill dated within the last 3 months

Business Permits (Other Zones)

Purchasing Permits

To purchase business permits for Zone QB, select -

    1. ‘Buy Digital Permits’
    2. The ‘Business Permits’ option.

For first time on-street Business Permits for Zone QB -

    2. Select your property and continue.
    3. Input your details to create your account
    4. Continue to make the purchase.

If you do not have a business rates number, please provide alternative documents to help@mipermit.com in the form of a -

  • tenancy agreement or licence to occupy
  • completion statement showing the names of the business, the full address and signatures of all parties
  • bank statement/utility bill dated within the last 3 months

You will be required to upload proof of business and proof of vehicle for every business permit that you apply for. This is then sent to the Hull City Council with your application for approval. A confirmation of the outcome will be sent to you via email.

Amending A Registration

You cannot amend the vehicle registration on your business permit for other zones. You will need to cancel your current permit and then re-apply for a new one.
